Here are some of the many reasons to choose Massey Engineering:

Get where you want to go

We want you to succeed and we're here to help you acheive your educational goals, your career dreams and your personal aspirations. We have well connected lecturers, award winning teachers and world renown researchers, plus support staff, and the best learning environment to help you get where you want to go.

Flexibility and choice - study how and where you want to

At Massey you can study at any one of our three campuses - Albany, Palmerston North or Wellington, or you can study at a distance with Massey Extramural. This flexibililty gives you options - you can combine study modes and study some papers on campus and others extramurally and you can change where and how you study if your circumstances or lifestyle changes. And with more than 100 qualifications on offer, you have choice about what you study and where.

Get the job you want

Being taught by researchers and teachers from New Zealand and overseas in conjuntion with employers' professional organisations means you graduate with a relevant qualification that puts you in demand in the job market. There are many professionally endorsed-qualifications to choose from.

Our Graduates

Massey graduates are confident, ambitious, successful, high achievers recognised for their practical nature and ability to get stuck in straight away - it's the reputation and attitude that sets Massy graduates apart from those from other Universities.

Gain an Internationally-recognised qualification

Massey's researchers are well known internationally, and many of our qualifications have international accreditation. You can be confident you will be learning to international standards and your qualification will be well respected overseas.

Make an investment in your future

The Ministry of Education Profile and Trends 2005 shows that New Zealanders with Bachelors' qualifications earn 78 percent more than those who finished School Certificate. Those Bachelor's degree earned on average $46,000 compared to $31,000 for those whose highest qualification was a school qualification. This equates to $600,000 over a working life.*
