Laboratories
The atomic force microscope is a powerful tool for imaging and surface characterisation. Professor Haverkamp's laboratory is equiped with two AFMs. A Veeco Nanoscope E and and Asylum Research MFP-3D. The laboratory is also equipped with a Philips PW1840 X-ray diffractometer for analysis of materials, a Gamry Potentiostat and a Shimadzu GC 2014. Extensive use is made of the Australian Synchrotron in Melbourne.
